Maybe God wishes to teach me a thousand new things, move me from being in a thousand different directions to just ONE, and show me a thousand reasons to BLESS his name. Maybe that is why He moved me 1,000 miles away.

Granny's Got Game

We never know just what kind of art Audrey will create. Today she decided to capture the utter astonishment of two boys who are taken off guard by a ball-stealing granny. Granny's got game, alright. But, so does Audrey!

Buddies

Benjamin is 3 weeks old today. Here he is celebrating with one of his favorite cozy pals.

Princess Audrey

It was so much fun being a princess for the evening. Audrey was escorted by Prince Roy and they had a great time at the Royal Ball. Audrey's favorite part was eating the pastries. She also told a story how when Roy went to get her some punch, he forgot which table Audrey was sitting at and had to look around for a moment. Audrey overheard one of her Pioneer Girl teachers say to Roy, "be careful! Don't loose your princess." Audrey thought that was funny.

Baby Benjamin

He finally arrived! Our hearts are melting -- we are already stricken with love. Jackson calls it "benitis", which is the state of not being able to think about anything but Benjamin.

Jackson has a bit of a graphic artist in him. He took this picture
the evening we had our chinese feast.

Here is my picture of one of my favorite asian
cookies....Kuala Yummies. No, they are not
from China -- but Japan is close to China and they
were for a time invaded by the Chinese so I
figured it was a good reason to splurge on the
little imported delights and introduce them to the
kids.

The stork taunts me

This weekend I have many hours to myself as the family is off to cheer on Jackson at the Hockey Playoffs. I can't go, due to the distance the arena is from the hospital. Perhaps.....perhaps these are my final days of freedom, how shall I spend them?
