Maybe God wishes to teach me a thousand new things, move me from being in a thousand different directions to just ONE, and show me a thousand reasons to BLESS his name. Maybe that is why He moved me 1,000 miles away.

Barefoot in January

What a fun winter break! Two days of weather in the 70's !!!

As of yesterday we are back to some snow and ice, but it doesn't seem to be unbearable at all knowing that we could have another day just around the corner where we discard our shoes and socks and run through the grass.

Oh man. It looks like early spring there! We're enjoying -12 with windchill supposed to get to -30.

Invigorating.

Step one: Boil water in a pot
Step two: step outside with pot of water
Step three: Keep children back, stretch out art, toss boiling water high into the air
Step four: Be amazed as you see the water turn to a cloud before your eyes.

It's fun! I think it has to be around 5 or so degrees for it to work, though.
